Abstract

La pregunta central de esta investigación es cómo evoluciona en su conjunto la precariedad laboral en Guadalajara (México). Asimismo, se busca responder qué significa que el trabajo se esté precarizando y que la informalidad laboral predomine y cómo se asocia la precariedad con los graves desajustes productivos en que están insertas las economías, con las características específicas de un entorno territorial y con la gravedad de las circunstancias impuestas por la pandemia de COVID-19. En este documento se abordan los trastocamientos en el mundo del trabajo sobre la base de un análisis de lo ocurrido en el Área Metropolitana de Guadalajara.
