El régimen de bienestar mexicano: Inercias, transformaciones y desafíos

Abstract

El propósito de este informe es contribuir al análisis de las implicaciones de la pandemia de enfermedad por coronavirus (COVID-19) en el régimen de bienestar social mexicano. En concreto, se lleva a cabo un diagnóstico y una valoración de las transformaciones sistémicas que este ha experimentado en las últimas décadas y se ofrecen algunas recomendaciones para avanzar hacia la construcción de un Estado de bienestar capaz de articular de una manera más democrática, universalista y progresiva los distintos elementos del régimen de bienestar mexicano.
