Logística internacional pospandemia: Análisis de las industrias aérea y de transporte marítimo de contenedores

Abstract

Este estudio busca reflejar la situación de la logística internacional originada en el brote del COVID-19 desde prácticamente el inicio del año 2020, poniendo énfasis en los tráficos aéreo y marítimo. Para el primer caso se analiza la evolución de los pasajeros transportados por avión, mientras que para el segundo el análisis reside en el movimiento de contenedores. Aunque el estudio esté enfocado en la región de América Latina y el Caribe, en el análisis de contexto de ambos sectores se adopta una perspectiva global. Asimismo, se resaltan algunas preocupaciones emergentes del periodo actual que podrían tener repercusiones en la pospandemia, en especial las vinculadas a la concentración de los mercados, al rol de los gobiernos en el apoyo a las compañías de ambos sectores, y, en última instancia, a los impactos del actual contexto sobre el acceso y la asequibilidad de los servicios prestados.
