Abstract

El objetivo del presente documento es brindar una panorámica de la participación de los países de América Latina y el Caribe en el Mecanismo de Solución de Diferencias (MSD) de la Organización Mundial del Comercio (OMC) en el sexenio 2015-2020. Este período ha estado marcado por la aguda crisis por la que atraviesa la OMC. Ella se ha manifestado de modo especialmente dramático en su función de ayudar a resolver las controversias entre sus miembros, con el cese de funciones del Órgano de Apelación desde diciembre de 2019.
