Clasificaciones estadísticas internacionales incorporadas en el Banco de Datos del Comercio Exterior de América Latina y el Caribe de la CEPAL

Abstract

El Cuaderno Estadístico de la CEPAL No.18 presenta una breve reseña de las clasificaciones estadísticas internacionales incorporadas en el Banco de Datos del Comercio Exterior de América Latina y el Caribe (BADECEL), que maneja la División de Estadística y Proyecciones de la CEPAL, en la que se describen las principales características de las clasificaciones y sus interrelaciones. Mediante la presentación de esquemas comparativos se pretende también brindar una visión de conjunto sobre el tema, tanto a productores como a usuarios de estadísticas sobre comercio exterior. En este contexto, el conocimiento de los objetivos y la naturaleza de las distintas clasificaciones estadísticas internacionales constituye un punto de partida indispensable para su adecuada utilización.
