Las estadísticas del comercio internacional de servicios de informática en los países de la Alianza del Pacífico

Abstract

En este documento se aborda el estado actual de la compilación y difusión de estadísticas del comercio internacional de servicios de informática en los cuatro países miembros de la Alianza del Pacífico y se presentan algunas recomendaciones y lineamientos generales para mejorar su estimación. También se analizan las prácticas de compilación de estadísticas del comercio de servicios de informática en otros cuatro países: Costa Rica, España, India y Uruguay. Las experiencias internacionales y los propios procesos que han llevado adelante los países de la Alianza del Pacífico parecen sugerir que la realización de encuestas a empresas puede ser una importante fuente de información para la estimación del comercio de servicios de informática. Los antecedentes en varios países indicarían que la coordinación con los responsables de otras estadísticas, especialmente las de cuentas nacionales, puede dar mayor solidez a las estimaciones.
