Panorama del desarrollo territorial de América Latina y el Caribe 2022

Abstract

El presente panorama tiene como objetivo brindar antecedentes recientes sobre la magnitud y las tendencias de las desigualdades territoriales, así como sobre los planes y políticas nacionales que los países de la región están implementando para enfrentarlas. Se revisan las tendencias más recientes de la concentración espacial y las desigualdades económicas y sociales en países de la región, comparándolas con las de países de la Organización de Cooperación y Desarrollo Económicos (OCDE). También se analizan algunas implicaciones territoriales de las diversas crisis en proceso —económica, social, ambiental y sanitaria—, y se plantean reflexiones sobre los efectos de la desigualdad en la difusión y los impactos de la pandemia de enfermedad por coronavirus (COVID-19).
