Abstract

En este documento se presenta la estimación del costo de las transferencias monetarias en el marco de la Política Nacional de Protección y Promoción Social (PNPPS) de Haití, promulgada el 12 de junio de 2020 y que tiene como propósito reducir la pobreza de manera duradera, disminuir las desigualdades y promover la autonomía de la población haitiana. Este ejercicio se centra en el cálculo de los costos de los 11 mecanismos de transferencias monetarias en diferentes situaciones (infancia, maternidad, trabajo de cuidado, vejez, discapacidad, desastres, entre otras) y diferentes grupos de edad y zonas geográficas, y considera un período de implementación progresiva de 2020 a 2030.
