Abstract

El mercado de trabajo cambia de manera cada vez más acelerada y los sistemas de información y estadísticas laborales en América Latina y el Caribe cuentan con herramientas limitadas para analizar el impacto de estos cambios en las ocupaciones y en la formación y capacitación necesarias para adaptarse a ellos. En este trabajo se describe una encuesta de caracterización de ocupaciones desarrollada en el Uruguay siguiendo el modelo O*NET de los Estados Unidos.
