Cuidados y mujeres en tiempos de COVID‐19: la experiencia en la Argentina

Abstract

En el marco del programa Primera Infancia y Sistema Integral de Cuidados, del Fondo Conjunto para los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible, que se implementa con otros organismos del sistema de las Naciones Unidas en el país, este documento reúne los estudios realizados en conjunto por la Comisión Económica para América Latina y el Caribe (CEPAL), el Programa de las Naciones Unidas para el Desarrollo (PNUD) y el Ministerio de las Mujeres, Géneros y Diversidad de la Argentina. En ellos se indagan los efectos actuales y futuros de la pandemia de COVID-19 y de las medidas para su contención en la situación de las mujeres, en general, y en las tareas remuneradas y no remuneradas de cuidado. En los estudios se diferencia la situación según estratos sociales, territorios o segmentos laborales y se abordan temas específicos como el teletrabajo y la educación en el hogar, lo que aporta riqueza a la información. También se analiza si este contexto ha afectado en particular a las mujeres, y de qué forma, y se proponen acciones del Estado para evitar estos sesgos y contribuir a diseñar políticas y salidas de la crisis sanitaria y económica más igualitarias.
