Adopción de tecnologías digitales 4.0 por parte de pequeñas y medianas empresas manufactureras en la Región del Biobío (Chile)

Abstract

En la presente publicación, se analiza la experiencia de 20 pequeñas y medianas empresas (pymes) manufactureras de la región chilena del Biobío. Los investigadores postulan que la capacidad de absorción de nuevos conocimientos de las empresas se correlaciona directamente con variables como la cultura y el perfil de liderazgo empresarial, su tecnología, el grado de preparación del personal y las relaciones con el entorno. Partiendo de esta base, se tipifican las empresas y se profundiza en el análisis de las motivaciones que las indujeron a invertir en nuevas tecnologías, así como de los obstáculos que enfrentaron y los logros que han alcanzado hasta la fecha.
