Cambio tecnológico: desarrollo y demanda de habilidades digitales y ajustes en la oferta de educación y formación en Chile

Abstract

Las nuevas tecnologías generan múltiples oportunidades de trabajo remunerado. Sin embargo, para aprovechar estas oportunidades es clave el desarrollo de nuevas habilidades. En este informe se examinan los avances y debilidades de la transformación digital en Chile. Para ello se analizan las dinámicas relevantes del mercado laboral, la economía digital y las brechas entre oferta y demanda de profesionales con cualificaciones digitales, así como la estructura y evolución de la formación técnico-profesional. Se presentan las iniciativas desarrolladas en diferentes contextos institucionales para fomentar las habilidades digitales y se revisan algunos métodos aplicados a nivel nacional y sectorial y por las instituciones de educación para identificar y prever las competencias que requerirá el mercado laboral, y los ajustes que estas instituciones realizan para responder a estos cambios.
