Abstract

El presente documento se ha elaborado en el marco del convenio suscrito entre la CEPAL y el Ministerio de Economía y Finanzas de la República de Haití, que tiene como propósito el “Fortalecimiento Institucional de la Dirección General de Presupuesto (DGB) del Ministerio de Economía y Finanzas de Haití (MEF)”. El Ministerio de Economía y Finanzas de Haití está implementando un proceso de modernización de la gestión de las finanzas públicas, con el objeto de avanzar en transparencia fiscal y presupuestaria, eficiencia del gasto público y desempeño de la acción pública. La modernización involucra la incorporación de nuevos instrumentos de gestión y la creación de nuevos programas presupuestarios.
