Análisis de tendencias ocupacionales y demanda de calificaciones en la Argentina

Abstract

En vista del avance de la digitalización, en combinación con la automatización y la inteligencia artificial, se espera que cambie sustancialmente la naturaleza del empleo. El interrogante que permanece abierto es cómo este proceso se está manifestando en la realidad; por lo tanto, resulta de interés anticipar tendencias ocupacionales y demandas de calificaciones en Argentina. Para ello, este documento hace un primer esfuerzo por desentrañar qué dice la EIL respecto a los cambios experimentados por la naturaleza de los empleos en Argentina en el período 2008 – 2017. Los resultados encontrados indican que los cambios en la naturaleza de las ocupaciones están fuertemente ligados a lo que sucede con la economía en general, pero se destacan las ocupaciones ligadas a la informática -como una de las ocupaciones del futuro- y se observa un crecimiento robusto de las ocupaciones profesionales. Queda pendiente como desafío para Argentina generar un sistema comprehensivo para estimar demandas de ocupaciones y habilidades.
