Estudio de caso sobre estrategias para promover la inclusión financiera de pequeños productores rurales en Honduras

Abstract

El presente estudio de caso fue elaborado en el marco del proyecto “Crecimiento inclusivo, política industrial rural y cadenas de valor participativas en América Latina y el Caribe” que fue formulado por el Proyecto CEPAL-FIDA de las Naciones Unidas. El objetivo general del proyecto es fortalecer la participación de pequeños productores, empresas y organizaciones en cadenas de valor rurales en América Latina y el Caribe. Por tal motivo, el Proyecto CEPAL-FIDA requirió la elaboración de un estudio de caso sobre las estrategias para promover la inclusión financiera de pequeños productores rurales en Honduras. Este estudio brinda un panorama general en torno a la evolución reciente, situación actual y perspectivas de inclusión financiera de pequeños productores rurales en Honduras. Su elaboración consistió en la revisión documental relacionada a la inclusión financiera en Honduras enfocado en pequeños productos rurales, así como, a la recopilación de información primaria puntual.
