Fortalecimiento de la cadena de turismo en el Departamento de La Libertad, El Salvador

Abstract

El propósito de este documento es analizar la cadena de valor del turismo en el Departamento de La Libertad, El Salvador, con miras a generar nuevos productos, servicios y enlaces en cuatro municipios seleccionados (Chiltiupán, Comasagua, Puerto de La Libertad y Tamanique), conectando la Ruta de Sol y Playa con la oferta complementaria en la zona rural de la región, y proponer estrategias y líneas de acción concretas para aliviar las restricciones que enfrenta el funcionamiento de la cadena. Los municipios fueron analizados durante dos misiones de campo en 2014. El diagnóstico y las estrategias de acción fueron validados por parte de los actores y las instituciones de apoyo durante mesas de diálogo público-privado realizadas en marzo, julio y noviembre de 2015.
