Sistema de protección social en México a inicios del siglo XXI

Abstract

En este trabajo se reconstruye el conjunto de las antiguas y nuevas instituciones de los esquemas contributivos (o de seguridad social); y el de las instituciones no contributivas y se analizan los principales subsistemas que conforman el sistema de protección social en México, con especial acento en los de salud, pensiones, educación, y en las acciones frente al desempleo y la pobreza, con el objetivo de mostrar lo que podemos llamar configuración actual del sistema de protección social en México.
