Abstract

O estudo - Caracterização, processos e situações críticas de encaminhamento, teve como objetivo realizar levantamentos e análises das características do crescimento metropolitano, identificando os principais processos e situações críticas que afetam a metrópole de São Paulo, em particular sobre a situação do solo urbano e da moradia, no sentido de subsidiar o desenho e implementação do Observatório da Habitação do Município de São Paulo. Parte da análise do contexto social, das desigualdades e contradições e das condições institucionais do município para concluir de que há carência de um sistema de informações que auxilie na gestão da política habitacional e, também, no controle social da sociedade civil organizada, que atua nos espaços públicos.
