Abstract

El presente documento busca dar cuenta del estado del arte de la investigación y discusión internacional en relación con el papel de las tecnologías de la información y la comunicación en la educación inclusiva, o en los llamados pro-equity issues en educación. Más específicamente, persigue dar un panorama sobre lo que dice la literatura y muestra la investigación a nivel internacional sobre el potencial y aporte real de las nuevas tecnologías para incluir y reforzar el aprendizaje de estudiantes en desventaja por su condición de género, discapacidad física y/o mental, y origen étnico o lingüístico. Además ofrece un levantamiento de iniciativas de inclusión educativa de estos tres grupos en la región de América Latina.
