Abstract

Este libro reúne un conjunto de estudios de caso y un análisis transversal de las políticas públicas para la agricultura familiar en once países latinoamericanos. Aborda la situación de las agriculturas de base familiar en cada uno de ellos y la evolución de las políticas enfocadas o que inciden directamente en ella, así como las definiciones, tipologías e instrumentos para orientar y aplicar esas políticas. Finalmente, valora sus resultados e impactos, sus perspectivas actuales y los principales desafíos que enfrentan dichas políticas y las diversas agriculturas familiares del hemisferio.
