Abstract

Este documento faz parte de uma série de publicações que tem o intuito de divulgar os requisitos e as experiências da aplicação da tecnologia de informação e comunicação (TIC) no âmbito da saúde. Seu objetivo é fornecer informações úteis para os tomadores de decisão e contribuir para a formulação de políticas e estratégias de saúde eletrônica (Saúde-e) destinadas a reduzir as lacunas no acesso e qualidade que afetam as populações mais vulneráveis, assim como melhorar a efetividade e eficiência da gestão dos serviços de saúde.
