Abstract

Провежданата парична политика през 1991 г. преследваше две главни цели: да установи равновесие на паричния пазар, като съкрати изключително високото парично търсене до икономически обоснования размер на паричното предлагане; да предотврати прерастването на неизбежната либерализация на цените в хиперинфлация. За постигането на тези цели бяха използвани широка гама от инструменти, но главната тежест падна върху преките средства за контрол. Може да се каже, че поставените пред паричната политика задачи в общи линии бяха изпълнени, въпреки някои колебания през летния период.
