Abstract

The reserach systematizes the factors that influence the price level in the country and at the same time estimates their impact on the economy in the conditions of a functioning currency board. It also reveals the inflation tendencies in 1997-1999. The different factors classification is based on the chronology of their influence over the inflation developments in the country.
