Abstract

Çekim denklemi, uluslararası ticaretin temel çalışma modeli (workhorse) olup ticaret politikası analizlerinde en sık başvurulan araçlardan biridir. Ancak, sağlam teorik temellerine, dikkate değer ampirik başarısına, sezgisel çekiciliğine ve uygulama kolaylığına rağmen, çekim denklemi lisans öğrencilerinin ve çekim literatürüne yeni başlayan araştırmacıların çalışmalarını mümkün kılacak ve geliştirecek biçimde yeterince tanıtılmamış ve hak ettiği kapsamda ele alınmamıştır. Bu rehberin amacı, ticarette çekim modelini lisans öğrencilerine tanıtmak ve teorik çekim denklemini çeşitli araştırma projeleri ve politika analizlerinde kullanılabilecek bir ekonometrik modele dönüştürmektir.
