Abstract

重力方程式は、国際貿易の主力モデルで、貿易政策分析において最も広く利用されているツールです。しかし、その確固たる理論的基礎、顕著な実証的成功、直感的な魅力、そして実装の容易さにもかかわらず、学部生や初学者による研究を可能にし促進するような適切な導入や正当な評価を、重力方程式は受けてきませんでした。本章の目的は、学部生に貿易の重力モデルを紹介し、理論的な重力方程式を幅広い研究プロジェクトや政策分析に応用可能な計量経済モデルへと展開することです。
