Abstract

Primera edición de documentos de trabajo sobre energía, publicados por CAF. La publicación presenta recomendaciones de política regulatoria para el manejo y la distribución de las rentas de congestión que se originan en el comercio internacional de electricidad entre Colombia y Ecuador. Adicionalmente, plantea la necesidad de diseñar un programa de interconexiones internacionales para los países andinos, así como de llevar a cabo estudios de factibilidad, y discutir y aprobar nuevos modelos para regular las transacciones internacionales de electricidad.
