Abstract

El presente documento tiene por propósito sistematizar la evidencia que surge de la Primera Convocatoria 2018 de Innovaciones Prometedoras en la Formación Docente en América Latina y el Caribe. Se espera contribuir al diálogo entre distintos grupos de actores desde el convencimiento que la calidad de la formación es clave para el mejoramiento de las prácticas docentes y para incidir positivamente en los aprendizajes de los estudiantes. La Convocatoria 2018 es una de las primeras actividades del Programa Regional para el Desarrollo de la Profesión Docente en América Latina y el Caribe (PREDALC) el cual procura contribuir con los esfuerzos que los países de la región realizan a favor del fortalecimiento de la profesión docente. El PREDALC es apoyado por la Organización de Estados Iberoamericanos para la Educación, la Ciencia y la Cultura (OEI), la Organización de Estados Americanos (OEA), CAF y el Banco Mundial (BM).
