Abstract

Institutionelle Immobilieninvestoren, wie etwa offene Immobilienfonds, erfahren seit Jahren ein starkes Wachstum. Trotz ihrer steigenden Bedeutung und zunehmenden Professionalisierung wurde der Entwicklung spezifischer Unternehmensstrategien bislang jedoch nur geringe Bedeutung beigemessen. Hier setzt der Autor an, wenn er auf Basis einer empirischen Analyse den Kompetenzansatz auf Immobilieninvestoren überträgt: Was sind mögliche Kernkompetenzen? Wie lassen sich diese gezielt aufbauen, nutzen und pflegen? Wie sieht eine kompetenzbasierte Strategie aus und welche Vorteile bietet sie? Das Buch vermittelt einen umfassenden Überblick über den institutionellen Immobilienmarkt in Deutschland, arbeitet die aktuellen Probleme heraus und bietet erstmals einen spezifischen Ansatz für das strategische Management dieser Unternehmen.
