Abstract

Die öffentliche Ladeinfrastruktur und der Elektroauto­bestand wachsen in Deutschland weiter an. Zu Beginn des Jahres 2026 sind etwa 200.000 öffentliche Ladepunkte an rund 109.000 Standorten verfügbar (+17 % gegenüber dem Vorjahr). Ein Viertel davon entfällt auf Schnellladepunkte. Parallel hat der Bestand reiner Elektroautos die Marke von 2 Mio. (+23 %) überschritten und macht damit mehr als 4 % des Pkw-Bestands aus. Seit dem Jahr 2022 liegt dieses Verhältnis nahezu konstant bei 0,1 Ladepunkten je Elektroauto. Dabei gibt es deutliche regionale Unterschiede. In Ostdeutschland ist die Versorgungsdichte höher als im Westen, in Städten höher als im Umland. Ein Grund dafür könnten geringere private Lademöglich­keiten sein. Der Blick nach Norwegen zeigt: Viele private Wallboxen senken den Bedarf an öffentlicher Ladeinfrastruktur. Für Akzeptanz und Markthochlauf sind sowohl Ausbau öffentlicher Ladepunkte als auch einfache Regeln für Lademöglichkeiten in Mehrfamilien­häusern wichtig.
