Abstract

2019 était l’année européenne des maladies rares. Le 16 décembre, l’Europe fête les 20 ans de la règlementation sur les médicaments orphelins qui promeut la recherche pour les maladies rares. Ce numéro de Regards économiques étudie comment l’enjeu d’encourager la recherche sur les maladies rares est aujourd’hui dépassé par ceux de la régulation du prix des médicaments orphelins et de la hausse des inégalités entre les maladies rares.
