Abstract

Ce numéro de Regards économiques analyse le décret qui organise les inscriptions en première année secondaire en Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles. Le décret inscription requiert que les parents transmettent une liste de maximum dix établissements dans lesquels ils aimeraient inscrire leur enfant, classés dans l’ordre de leurs préférences. En parallèle, le décret fixe les critères qui sont utilisés pour déterminer à quels enfants donner priorité lorsque la demande pour un établissement excède son nombre de places disponibles. L’allocation des places disponibles est réalisée par un algorithme se basant sur les préférences transmises par les parents et les critères de priorité.
