Le chômage des jeunes en Belgique. Diagnostic et remèdes clés

Abstract

En Belgique, le chômage des jeunes est structurellement plus élevé que dans de nombreux autres pays européens et touche particulièrement les jeunes peu qualifiés. Les causes principales de ce chômage structurel sont un coût du travail trop élevé en bas de l’échelle des salaires, un cloisonnement entre l’école et le travail, et, en général, une attention trop limitée à la réussite des jeunes peu qualifiés tant dans leur parcours scolaire que dans leur parcours d’insertion vers l’emploi.
