Satisfaction salariale: ce qui a changé en 16 ans (2009–2025)

Abstract

En seize ans, le niveau moyen de la satisfaction salariale dans le secteur privé n’a presque pas bougé, mais la répartition des niveaux de satisfaction s’est polarisée et les motifs invoqués ont changé. À partir de deux enquêtes comparables menées en 2009 (Salsa) et 2025 (Apec x Terra Nova), cette note montre que les déterminants classiques de la satisfaction salariale ont perdu une grande partie de leur pouvoir explicatif. Ce qui distingue désormais un salarié satisfait d’un salarié insatisfait, ce n’est plus tant son diplôme ou sa catégorie socio-professionnelle, mais plutôt son rapport au contenu du travail et son sentiment de reconnaissance.
