Abstract

Este documento hace un balance de la investigación sobre juventud en Colombia que se ha hecho en este siglo y de las fuentes de información disponibles para el análisis de problemas que afectan a la juventud. El documento se centra en temas relevantes sobre el bienestar presente y futuro de los jóvenes: demografía, pobreza y desigualdad, educación, trabajo, salud, conflicto y crimen, salud mental y emocional, participación política. Usando algunas de las bases de datos resenadas se presenta también una actualización de algunas de las brechas en el bienestar de los jóvenes en Colombia.****** This document reviews the research about youth in Colombia that has been done in this century, and the sources of information available for the analysis of problems affecting youth. The document focuses on relevant issues about the present and future well-being of young people: demography, poverty and inequality, education, work, health, conflict and crime, mental and emotional health, political participation. Using some of the databases reviewed, an update of some of the gaps in the well-being of young people in Colombia is also presented.
