Abstract

El presente artículo es un documento de política que recopila de argumentos que justifican el impuesto a las bebidas azucaradas como una medida necesaria de salud pública para Colombia. En documento se encuentra la situación de salud de Colombia asociada a obesidad y sobrepeso, las patologías asociadas a su consumo y la propuesta de definición de bebidas azucaradas. Igualmente, se cuenta con una revisión de experiencias de otros países y recomendaciones de organismos internacionales respecto a las características del impuesto
