Abstract

Hace cuatro meses, se extinguía a temprana edad el gran economista social colombiano Ulpiano Ayala. Muchas facetas de su personalidad y de su obra merecen ser destacadas, más allá de las que recordará el presente artículo. En particular, dedicó buena parte de sus últimos años al estudio del sistema pensional y de sus necesarias reformas. Otros escribirán acerca de esta y otras contribuciones del doctor Ayala.
