El impacto del transporte aéreo en la economía colombiana y las políticas públicas

Abstract

"El principal resultado del estudio muestra que frente al crecimiento del transporte aéreo y su impacto en la economía colombiana, las polí-ticas públicas, especialmente las relacionadas con la infraestructura, no han respondido de manera adecuada para cerrar los cuellos de botella e incentivar el desarrollo del sector frente al aumento de la demanda. Por el lado de las concesiones, a pesar de que a través de las tres generaciones se han recogido importantes lecciones, especialmente frente a los costos asumidos por el Estado y la planeación de los terminales, los atrasos en la concesión del aeropuerto El Dorado y los costos asociados, especialmente para los usuarios, muestran que aún es necesario revisar su diseno. Por su parte, la inversión pública ha disminuido, y el rezago en la infraestructura del espacio aéreo no se ha cerrado".
