División internacional de la producción pecuaria

Abstract

Esta anomalía dentro de los propósitos del comercio internacional se explica por la importancia que para todo grupo social tiene la autosuficiencia alimentaria, surgiendo así una serie de paradojas dentro de las que cabe mencionar algunas muy notables: en los países desarrollados el aporte al PIB del sector agrario es muy bajo, general mente inferior al 5%, pero se mantiene vigoroso aunque exige la transferencia de gran cantidad de recursos des de los otros sectores de la economía. EI sector agrario, por el contrario, tiene un gran peso en la economía de los países en desarrollo, con aportes que superan, en muchos casos, con largueza el 20% de PIB, con importantes excedentes exportables a costos inferiores a los que se obtienen en los países desarrollados, sin embargo, esta fortaleza productiva se ha convertido en una ruina económica.
