Determinación de la demanda de importaciones y de la oferta de exportaciones (una nota didáctica)

Abstract

El objeto de estas notas es hacer una presentación didáctica de dos formas comúnmente empleadas en la modelación de la demanda de importaciones, de una parte, y de la oferta de exportaciones, de la otra. En ambos casos se trata de formas muy conocidas, cuya ventaja es permitir que tanto la relación entre las importaciones y la producción doméstica, como la existente entre las exportaciones y la oferta para el mercado doméstico, dependan de las respectivas relaciones de precios, sin que por ello haya que prescindir de la hipótesis de "país pequeno", según la cual el país es generalmente "tomador de precios" en el mercado mundial.
