Movilidad de capital en la economía colombiana

Abstract

Este trabajo pretende medir el grado de apertura financiera de la economía colombiana durante los últimos 15 anos y comparar el actual con el registrado en la década de los anos ochenta. Se divide en cinco partes principales. En la siguiente, se presenta una revisión bibliográfica sobre el tema movilidad de capital en la economía colombiana. La sección III describe el marco teórico del modelo desarrollado por Edwards y Khan (EK) para medir el grado de integración financiera de los países en vías de desarrollo. En la sección IV se lleva a cabo una nueva estimación del modelo (EK) para el período 1970 - 1994, mediante los métodos de coeficientes constantes y coeficientes variables, a través de MCO y Filtro de Kalman, respectivamente. Los resultados obtenidos se comparan con los presentados por Edwars y Khan 1985 y Toro 1987. Finalmente, se presentan las conclusiones.
