El desarrollo sostenible y los recursos naturales no renovables

Abstract

El presente artículo se compone de los siguientes aspectos:-La caracterización de los recursos naturales no renovables como objeto de estudio en la disciplina económica, mostrando su importancia para el desarrollo de la civilización industrial y la calidad de vida y advirtiendo que se trata de recursos que existen en una cantidad limitada, localizados en las parles más externas de la corteza terrestre, que su escasez es función del avance tecnológico y que su explotación y utilización inadecuadas generan graves consecuencias socio-económicas y ambientales.-La evolución del tratamiento que la economía neoclásica y en general que la teoría económica le han dado a los recursos naturales y, en particular, a los no renovables, según el cual la escasez de recursos en relación con su demanda es la determinante esencial de los precios, y el senalamiento de algunas debilidades y efectos de dicho tratamiento que conducen a una gestión equivocada de los recursos naturales.
