Abstract

La economia y la Cultura han empezado a dialogar relativamente hace poco y los estudios formalizados desde la economía y la estadistica son recientes. El propósito de este trabajo es plantear algunos elementos de analisis en tonrno a la Economía de la Cultura, que se está consolidadndo como una rama disciplinar destacada dentro del análisis economico por que constituye un terreno fértil para el razonamiento teórico y posibilita la verificación empírica del comportamiento de los individuos y de las organizaciones culturales. Al respecto se han planteado dos líneas de interpretación: una que destaca y defiende la legitimidad de la intervención estatal en el sector cultural; y otra que propone una mirada del sector culturaldesde el mercado.
