Fundamentos de la oferta agregada existen posibilidades para la política macroeconómica?

Abstract

En la medida en que no es posible la política económica si la curva de Oferta Agregada (OA) es vertical y teniendo en cuenta que los gobiernos siempre llevan a cabo acciones de política económica, este trabajo muestra algunas categorías especiales de funciones de producción que son necesarias para obtener el tramo horizontal de la curva OA y algunas funciones de oferta de trabajo especiales que son necesarias asimismo para estos propósitos. En el trabajo se ofrecen también algunas pruebas econométricas de las funciones mencionadas empleando datos de sección cruzada de varios países (las fuentes pertenecen al Fondo Monetario Internacional, ano 2004).
