Impacto de los subsidios y descuentos aplicados a los estudiantes de la universidad popular del Cesar (Colombia)

Abstract

Este estudio es de enfoque cuantitativo y se realizó a través de análisis descriptivo de la base de datos de estudiantes beneficiados por el subsidio del Fondo Educativo Departamental para la Educación Superior del Departamento del Cesar (FEDESCESAR) y Programas especiales de la Universidad Popular del Cesar (Colombia) en sus tres sedes durante los anos comprendidos entre 2006.I - 2012.I. Se aplicó un modelo econométrico de duración, con el que se logró describir y analizar factores, impactos e inconsistencias de los diferentes planes de apoyo financiero en el acceso y la permanencia de los estudiantes en los programas de pregrado. Además, se determinaron los riesgos de pérdida del subsidio y, a su vez, se clasificaron clasificó en grupos de asociación.
