Abstract

Este documento estudia la afiliación del trabajador independiente al sistema de seguridad social integral y reflexiona en torno a los debates, económicos y jurídicos en torno a la materia. La tesis central que se desarrolla a lo largo del Boletín es que el trabajo independiente no es de naturaleza homogénea en su composición, y por el contrario presenta tipologías internas que hacen diferencial el diseno de políticas sobre la seguridad social, diseno que tiene claros y directos efectos sobre el tipo de contratación en los mercados de trabajo.
