Abstract

****** There are many technical papers about building applied general equilibrium models, but few about the concepts and methodology used in a computable general equilibrium model. In this paper, the discussion focuses on the conceptual area of these models, rather than on the technical side. In this way, the key elements to be taken into account with these models are presented to carry out simulations for the analysis and evaluation of public policies.
