Abstract

In the context of the deepening worsening of the terms of trade, fiscal deficit, current account deficit facing Colombia, the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19) has been spreading. This has complicated the scenario for managing public and economic policy. However, it is a propitious scenario to propose alternative policy measures, which means leaving the traditional canon and, even, overcoming the institutional agreements that underlie it. As a vision to solve problems immediately and as an invitation to evaluate and think about public policies in the future.
