Abstract

In this document, the Division of Macroeconomic Analysis reviewed the consolidation of the economic recovery in Colombia in the first months of 2021 and delved into relevant aspects outlining the main dynamics and challenges ahead. For each sector, the current dynamics and particular elements ahead of the recovery process are analyzed. At a high level, it can be highlighted that the pandemic is still far from its end, and the economic activity must continue to balance this risk. At the social level, the demands due to the deterioration of welfare deepened by the health and economic emergency will be an issue to monitor and solve in the short and medium-term.
