Elasticidad parcial de sustitución entre factores productivos y función de costos: Una aplicación del teorema de la envolvente

Using the envelope theorem, it is proved that the partial elasticity of substitution between two different factors can be expressed in terms of the cost function. The proof developed here presents its most relevant elements and procedures, with the purpose of making the proof as understandable as possible for the reader. Finally, the proof proposed in this document takes up several of the elements that were developed by certain seminal works on mathematical economics.
