Vivienda de interés social rural 2013: generación de espacios productivos para familias beneficiarias

Abstract

El objetivo del presente trabajo es evaluar la generación de espacios productivos del programa Vivienda de Interés Social Rural (VISR), del ano 2013, según el tipo de beneficio recibido, vivienda nueva o mejora para la misma. Para este propósito se utilizan los datos recopilados por el Departamento Nacional de Planeación (DNP, 2013) y se hace uso de tres metodologías: Diferencias en Diferencias, Propensity Score Matching y Variables Instrumentales. Se encuentra una disminución marginal no significativa en la probabilidad de contar con un espacio productivo en la vivienda, por lo cual se concluye que no hay diferencias en la generación de espacios productivos entre los tipos de beneficiarios del programa. El presente trabajo fue guiado teórica y metodológicamente por el libro de Bernal y Pena (2010).
